Bradford County man sentenced to up to 63 years for sexually abusing 7 - year - old

A Bradford County man will spend at least 27 years in prison after being convicted of sexually abusing a 7-year-old child. Jesse Gallagher, 47, of Ulster, was sentenced Thursday to 27 years and nine months to 63 years in state prison by President Judge Maureen T. Beirne. A jury convicted Gallagher in January of two counts of attempted involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, two counts of attempted statutory sexual assault and one count of corruption of minors. The charges stemmed from the sexual abuse of a 7-year-old child in 2024. During the January 23 trial, the child testified against Gallagher.
