Liberia has charged former Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor with drug trafficking, money laundering, and related offenses tied to a transnational narcotics probe, after stopping her at Roberts International Airport on August 19. Her office denies the charges, says she was treated unfairly despite offering to cooperate, and alleges the government may try to fabricate AI-generated evidence against her — calling the case a politically motivated attack.
