Lokayukta registers FIR against former Indore crime branch TI , three others for demanding bribe

Indore, Aug 24 : Lokayukta Police in Indore have registered an FIR against four individuals, including the then Town Inspector (TI) of the Indore Crime Branch, Sujeet Srivastava, on charges of demanding a bribe of Rs 1.20 lakh. The other accused are Abhay Singh (private driver), Vikas (then constable, Crime Branch Indore), and a private individual from Indore. According to Lokayukta officials, the complaint was filed by a woman, a resident of Tulsi Nagar, on April 2, 2026. She alleged that her son was summoned to the Crime Branch office at Regal Square in connection with a complaint.
