Plymouth police arrest man on child sex offenses

PLYMOUTH — Police in Plymouth Borough arrested a man from North Carolina on allegations he raped a juvenile female. Travis Kentel Webb, 47, of Weldon, N.C., was jailed without bail at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility after he was arraigned by District Judge Rick Cronauer of Wilkes-Barre on charges of rape, kidnapping, false imprisonment, corruption of minors, terroristic threats, simple assault and three counts of aggravated indecent assault. Webb was arrested and arraigned Saturday. Police say they investigated allegations of an alleged rape of a girl and arrested Webb after executing a search warrant.
