US sanctions ten over allegedly procuring weapons for Iran

The US has sanctioned 10 individuals and entities that allegedly procured weapons and weapons components for Iran's Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics, the US Treasury Department's website showed on Tuesday. The sanctioned individuals include a China-based representative of the Iranian defence ministry and representatives of several firms, based in Iran, Hong Kong and Pakistan, which allegedly procure components used for Iranian weapons development, according to the US Treasury.
